Total Commander Ultima Prime 4.3 is a bundle of the main software combined with advanced setting options for increasing the functionality of Total Commander, file managing software. Ultra Prime software is quite different from the formal distribution of Total Commander. The customization work that is done is distributed as a freeware; however Total Commander is a shareware. Moreover, the applications bundled with it may have different licenses and they may not be compatible for commercial purposes.
The Total Commander has also been updated in this version. There are two file windows opening simultaneously with multiple language support and advanced searching options. Files can be compared and a quick view panel with bitmap display gives a friendlier user interface. A lot of file extensions have been added for archive handling and plugins. There is a built-in FTP client with FXP and HTTP support. In addition to all this, there are tabbed interfaces, regular expressions, history & favorites buttons, custom columns, updated interface icons, logging, enhanced overwrite dialogue, etc.
There are no special requirements for the installation of the software. It can be installed on any operating system with the minimum of system configuration.
